Next year’s PDM Event is moving from Telford, UK and will be held in Manchester, UK for the first time.
Taking place on 21 and 22 June 2017, the two-day exhibition and conference event will move to the Event City venue, next to Manchester’s Trafford Centre.
Steve Crowhurst, managing director of Crain Communications UK, which organises PDM Event and publishes PNE and sister publication PRW, said of the shift: “As organisers we are always looking at ways to evolve and enhance the show in order to deliver a new audience for exhibitors and a new experience for visitors.
“Already home to key design and moulding firms, plus a third of PRW’s readership, moving PDM Event to Manchester will place the show right in the heart of the Northern manufacturing hub,” he added.
PD+I, Crain’s flagship design conference, also plans to expand next year in order to run a conference alongside the Manchester-located PDM Event.
